The Future of Indoor ClimbingCurved Resin SystemWe believe Bendcrete's Curved Resin System creates the most authentic climbing walls available. Anything from gritstone faces with rounded breaks to pocketed overhanging walls can be reproduced with amazing accuracy.
This realism helps climbers to develop technical skills as well as mental climbing abilities such as route planning and memory. Curved resin walls can be used anywhere. The base is made from flame retardant polyester resin mounted on a preformed steel frame. A 'wearing' coat of flame retardant resin and aggregates is then added to give a perfect climbing texture. This forms scoops, smears and edges that combine with other fine detail, to bring all the advanced technical points to any wall. Individual features or areas can easily be improved by a remodelling process. To complement the permanent features , disc and bolt-on holds can be fitted to give continuous flexibility in route changing and design. Curved resin walls are tough and hard-wearing, and virtually eliminate the need for maintenance, re-texturing and re-coating. They are designed as an integral unit and are then prefabricated into small panels which are curved to replicate the three dimensional quality of rock. They can then be fixed, hinged and adjusted to suit individual requirements. A fully articulated Bendcrete Curved Resin Wall is probably the most advanced climbing wall system available. the most prestigious UK projects and for international competitions.

Resin Plywood SystemsThe Bendcrete Resin Plywood System is the most cost-effective alternative for indoor training facilities. Based on 1200mm adjustable plywood panels, it is tough enough to avoid flexing and will last for years without the need for expensive maintenance. The panels themselves can be interchangeable to supplement the moving of the hand and footholds. The Budget panels are finished with a high friction coating and fitted with bolt-on holds. These are then fixed to a supporting structure to form a continuous climbing surface. The Euro Panels combine the cost effective high friction coating found on our Budget Panels with small features made using our unique resin coating. If finance is limited this system will give you the largest surface area with maximum variations at a reasonable price. For more variation and improved climbing quality our Standard panels offer a selection of fine holds, including scoops, smears, edges and disc holds, which are sculpted into the resin coating. Finally, our Premier Panels add climbing features such as flakes, cracks, pockets and hand jams to increase the challenge of the wall. Concrete Systems
These Systems gave us our name as we found we could 'bend' concrete into any shape to achieve the closest possible simulation of natural rock. Bendcrete walls imitate the three dimensional aspects of climbing to challenge the mental skill of climbers as well as their technique. The walls can be installed indoors and out, and their strength makes them particularly suitable where there is the possibility of accidental or deliberate damage. By using a combination of our original hand-sculptured method and a new 'Spray & Carve' technique, we have now made Bendcrete more versatile and cost-effective than ever. Both methods are based on a steel matrix of layers of reinforcement mesh. This enables us to reduce the thickness of the material to approximately 20mm and to fit both disc and bolt-on holds into the walls. Natural rock can be cast into the work as hand and foot holds to add further variety and a realistic feel. But that's not all. Bendrete can produce superb aesthetic finishes which make it ideal for sensitive areas where artificial structures conflict with the landscape. PlaygroundsUsing "Bendcrete" we can produce an exciting range of children's play structures. Rocks, forts, castles and volcanoes can all be integrated with traditional equipment to provide a bridge between play and sport. The potential to create exciting and imaginative themes in play parks is almost unlimited.Our tough reinforced concrete shell will withstand weather and vandalism and accommodate all BS design requirements. LandscapeSprayed concrete is particularly suitable where large areas need to be tackled . Indoor application can be prefabricated at our factory or built on- site. Rock features can be designed to accommodate planting schemes, water features and lighting equipment. They can improve motorway structures and can be used in design themes in a wide range of leisure facilities.Swimming PoolsOur artificial rock schemes can already be found in numerous swimming pools and leisure centres. The lightweight and high structural strengths of Bendcrete mean it resists the hostile pool environment and looks realistic. Waterfalls, rock pools, landscape or novelty features are all easy to reproduce. In fact, the versatility of this material is almost endless.BOLT-ON HOLDSBen MoonsOur objective was to design holds with Fontainbleau like friction that would be comfortable to use. This we feel has been achieved and these holds are ideal for either updating an existing facility or developing your own training area.Grattons RangeGrattons are a range of 60 holds that have been designed to be tendon friendly. Created by Allen Williams, a renowned boulderer, they can be used to produce routes of all grades of difficulty, from introductory climbs to routes for the world cup finals. They are generally thought of as some of the best bolt-on holds yet made.Jugs of JusticeAs an extension to our Gratton range we have produced a variety of 20 extra large holds. Affectionately known as 'The Jugs of Justice' they are perfect for introducing novice climbers or route setting on steep overhangs and roofs.Edges of DespairAnd that is exactly what they are. This range of 20 little crimps utilises the same technology as our Gratton range providing tiny gritstone edges that can be used for creating desperate problems for top climbers or used as intricate foot holds for mere mortals.
Pockets22 Pockets have again been designed by Allen Williams. These additions to the Gratton range are perfect for getting your fingers into. If Buoux at Easter is your objective, train on these in February and March.
Mini GrattonsYet more tiny holes to add interest to your wall and ensure that you use your feet. Made using Bendcrete's latest formula for excellent friction and strength, can be used to feature plywood.
Jubilee RangeTo celebrate our 25 anniversary Bendcrete asked Ian Fitzpatrick to design us 25 holds that would keep us happy for another 25 years. The 25 Jubilee slopers are extremely tendon friendly and guarenteed to produce the perfect pump.
Disc HoldsDisc holds offer a variety of inset holds to provide pockets not found on protruding holds. Available in a standard range of 50 holds we also provide a flat surface inset that can carry bolt-on holds for competitions as well as individual holds that have rock inset.
FingerboardAs a training aid Bendcrete's Fingerboard is unsurpassable. Designed to be gentle on fingertips and tendons yet tough enough to make you sweat, it is guaranteed not to polish after years of use. This makes it an ideal method for building up finger strength, either on its own or as an addition to the existing facilities.
Training TileThe new training tile is a revolutionary concept in climbing technology. Developed in conjunction with climbers this simple tile will appeal to all types of climbers. Superb on its own as a fingerboard it can be developed into a 'ripper' traverse by placing a number of them side by side. Alternatively a campus or plyometric board can be built by positioning the tiles on top of each other while turning the tile around offers alternatively profiled edges.
